Watch this brief video to learn more about the NHBCA AR+ art App.

Introducing the AR+ art by NHBCA App! Yes, you read that correctly: The New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts has acquired its very own Augmented Reality app to bring #NHArtAnywhere. And we mean anywhere — place a virtual gallery wall in your home or office to see art in your environment and take it with you using an iOS device anywhere there is Wi-Fi access.

The NHBCA prides itself on embracing technology to make the arts more accessible by partnering with businesses and the creative sector. Watch the video below to see how it works and be sure to check out our recent projects with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health and the League of NH Craftsmen. See our latest AR+ art exhibition Looking Glass: Exploring Art Through Augmented Reality.

These art explorations are the first of their kind to be featured in the greater New Hampshire area. Augmented reality is a digital tool that allows art and fine craft to be “digitally placed” anywhere, including at businesses and public locations. With augmented reality, there are no physical constraints or restrictions of space, security, or installation logistics.

The beauty of these virtual art experiences is that they help to make the arts widely available through the AR+ art App, allowing users to interact with New England art and artists at their leisure.
