20th Annual Business in the Arts Awards Gala May 13

April 7, 2004

The 20th annual Business in the Arts Awards will be held May 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester. Sponsored by the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts, the gala will honor the thirty New Hampshire businesses nominated for this year's awards, and then name the four winners. The evening incorporates a celebration of business support for the arts with a performance showcase.

John Clayton, columnist for The Union Leader, is the Master of Ceremonies for the festivities. Heading the lineup of featured performers is Tommy Makem, a New Hampshire resident and internationally acclaimed musician. Also performing is Shakespearian troupe Advice to the Players, New Hampshire poet laureate Cynthia Huntington, and accordionist Gary Sredszienski.

The thirty businesses were nominated for their support of the arts including sponsorships, employee volunteerism, and donations of products and services.
