Business Award This recognition will be given to those businesses which have had the most significant impact on the arts either through a single act of sufficient magnitude or through a variety of activities involving the arts over a period of time in 2009. Given to one individual business executive to recognize exceptional leadership, vision and commitment in encouraging and developing the partnership between business and the arts. Award selections are made exclusively from the nominations received from this call for nominations. The NHBCA and the judges do not consider any un-nominated businesses or leaders. No attempt will be made to assess the artistic merits of the arts programs supported by the businesses or individuals nominated. NHBCA awards are intended to honor business support of the arts and cultural programs, not to evaluate the programs themselves. Business-supported arts projects may be in any area of the arts.
